Cleveland Tiger Pride BandCleveland, Oklahoma Welcome to the website of the Cleveland High School Tiger Pride Band. Cleveland is located in northeastern Oklahoma near Lake Keystone. The Tiger Pride Band has an active marching, concert, and jazz band program. We strive to provide a fun and educational experience for all students, while encouraging positive student leadership as well as quality musicianship. The band has produced many honor band members to both the Oklahoma Small School All-State Band as well as the Mid-East Oklahoma Honor Band (MEOBDA) The Tiger Pride Marching band is an active organization. The band provides energetic entertainment at all football games and is very competitive at marching band contests. This years show will consist of music from "Cirque Du Soleil" La Nouba. The Tiger Pride Band was a finalist band at the 2003 Oklahoma Bandmasters Association state marching championship in class 1A-3A finishing 8th overall. The concert band has shared equal success, performing quality literature and working to achieve superior musicianship. The concert band earned a Superior rating at District contest in the spring of 2005 and 2007 qualifying for state contest two out of the past 3 years. The jazz band, which meets solely before school after marching season is completed, has enjoyed a great deal of success and popularity. The band has consistently rated in the top 10 jazz bands in the state of Oklahoma in class 3A, placing 6th in 2006-07. In addition to providing entertainment at home basketball games, the jazz band also competes in numerous contests. The jazz band plays classic swing literature but also explores the world of bebop, Latin and modern jazz. We hope you enjoy looking around the site. Thanks for stopping by.
